Alan Warburton | Digital Artist and Animator

A series of ten 3D-printed church models in black matte ceramic. The churches were first modelled and visualised using 3D software. A randomised algorithm based on distinctive features in European church architecture was used to generate multiple variations. The unique additive process of 3D printing has enabled each model to house an inaccessible and labyrinthine internal crypt. Each crypt is undocumented but unique.
