What your friends are using instead of Google Reader

Poll results so far. I’ll update this for a little while, but the popular choices are pretty clear.

One interesting choice apart from the committed Ultravox fans who chose Vienna – Tiny Tiny RSS is a PHP/MySQL (or Postgres) thing you install on your own server. The people who are using it are raving about it.

Feedly is the only popular choice that syncs on multiple devices. Reeder users (I’m one) are still waiting for a new sync services other then Feedbin (which is paid and which I couldn’t get to work) and for new Mac OS and iPad versions which use anything other than Google.

So there’s a few options for browser/desktop folks, not so much for multi-device people like me.
